Industrial Water Check Valve H44T-16Q DN100 PN16 Flanged Copper Core Swing Ductile Iron Valve

Designed for long-term reliability in water supply and drainage duty, this DN100 (4") swing check valve features a flanged ductile iron body in accordance with H44T-16Q and a copper core disc that delivers stable hard sealing. The valve opens fully under forward flow to minimize head loss and closes instantly when the flow reverses, making it ideal for pump discharge lines, water distribution mains and industrial utility piping rated PN16.

• QT450 Ductile Iron Body: The valve body and bonnet are cast from QT450-10 ductile iron, delivering high tensile strength and excellent impact resistance while remaining lighter and more economical than cast steel for water service.
• Copper Alloy Disc & Seat: The swing disc and seat ring are machined from copper alloy (brass), providing a stable metal-to-metal hard seal surface that resists corrosion, scaling and repeated opening cycles in water media.
• PN16 Flanged Connection: Flanged end connections are drilled to ISO 7005-2 / DIN PN16 patterns, allowing quick, secure installation between standard pipeline flanges with conventional gaskets and bolting.
• Single Disc Swing Structure: The single-disc swing design opens fully under forward flow and closes automatically when flow reverses, giving dependable one-way protection with minimal flow resistance.

Construction: The valve consists of a ductile iron body, a hinged copper alloy disc assembly and a renewable seat ring. The disc swings on a sturdy hinge pin; when upstream pressure exceeds downstream pressure the disc lifts off the seat and flow passes freely, and when flow stops or reverses, the disc returns to the closed position under its own weight and back pressure, forming a tight metal-to-metal seal. No springs or external actuators are required, which simplifies maintenance and reduces the risk of mechanical failure over the service life.

Applications: Beyond clean water systems, this flanged check valve suits industrial utilities including chemical plant cooling water circuits, metallurgical process water, power station auxiliary systems and food and pharmaceutical plant water lines.

Packaging & Quality Assurance: Every valve is hydrostatically shell tested at 2.4 MPa and seat tested at 1.76 MPa in line with GB/T 13927 and API 598 requirements before dispatch. Exterior surfaces receive anti-rust primer with blue or black finishing paint; flange faces are protected with wooden or plastic covers. Small sizes are packed in cartons with foam inserts and palletized, while larger diameters are secured in plywood wooden cases with internal foam supports, ready for sea freight.
